In 2015, from 23 to 26 february, Livelihoods and SOS SAHEL brought together more than 100 field experts: producers, heads of farmer organizations, NGOs, companies and institutions, ready to share and work together on effective solutions to meet the challenges of Food security in the Sahel.
A year after the different solutions shared during this flagship event were grouped in a booklet entitled “Family farming, 10 recommendations to be shared by the actors in the field”.
This book brings back the thoughts these different themes: How to increase the agricultural production while respecting the nature? How to adapt to climate change? How to access markets and sell better agricultural products? How can farmers and their communities be successful?
